Using your WITS

Bridgewater Elementary and the Bridgewater Police Services are involved in a excellent program to further support our students. The WITS Programs bring together schools, families and communities to create responsive environments that help children deal with bullying and peer victimization. WITS has two components: the WITS Primary Program (Kindergarten - Grade 3) and the WITS LEADS Program (Grades 4 - 6).  You can check it out at http://www.witsprogram.ca/

In the photo we have Cst. Jennifer Mason of the Bridgewater Police Services with two students who are using their WITS: Kara Day and Emily Higgins. They also have with them Wilma the Walrus (Our WITS Mascot). Thank you girls for using your WITS and also a big thank you to Cst. Mason for bringing this program to our school.
