Holiday Help Needed

THE WHIMSICAL CHILDREN’S STORE IS IN NEED OF DONATIONS of new or gently used items that a child 3 – 12 years old might like to purchase for a parent, sibling, relative or loved one. If you would like to donate such items please bring them to the ARK at 655 King Street in Bridgewater, Monday to Friday 9 am - 3 pm. or the Bridgewater Mall, Centre Court, 7 days a week during Mall hours The Whimsical Children’s Store is a unique Christmas shopping experience designed with kids in mind. With the help of volunteers, children shop amongst gingerbread houses, miniature Christmas trees, gingerbread kids and gumdrops to purchase gifts that will amaze, wow or even cause the gift recipient to howl with laughter. What makes the experience so unique is that only the child knows what’s under the wrapping, provided of course that they can keep a secret. Brought to you by; Town of Bridgewater ‘s Christmas on the LaHave Committee, the Skilled Trades and Exploration Program (STEP) at Parkview Education Centre, the Michelin Social Club, the ARK on King Street, product donors and volunteers and The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg. For more information please contact Bridgewater Parks & Recreation; 902-543-2274

Playground Support

BES families,

As you know the playground committee made a presentation to town council a couple weeks ago.  We are requesting that the town financially support our project.  It would be very helpful if people of our town wrote to their councilor requesting support also.  There are letter templates via the links above that you can feel free to use or you may write your own.  This support from our community will be very valuable.  Thanks for taking the time to send your support for our playground and community park.

You may also email your letter of support to one of the following emails:

david.mitchell@bridgewater.ca

michael.graves@bridgewater.ca

cheryl.fougere@bridgewater.ca

jennifer.mcdonald@bridgewater.ca

bill.mcinnis@bridgewater.ca
